whale detective are Hannah Brady (clarinet, alto clarinet, alto sax) and Jez Matthews (piano, synths, loops). We've been playing music together and organising events on the Sheffield music scene for many years, and released our first recording as whale detective in June 2021. The music is conversational and reflective, and we hope you'll enjoy listening in on it.
